Six years in a row

2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and, now, 2024. Mbete Cup has survived COVID-19, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Edgar Lungu’s fall from power and much, much more. This year, we did it again.

The concept is rather simple: Football, sunshine (if God wills), and most likely a few beverages to wind off the day.

While doing so, we were raising money for Mbete Youth Football Project. This year, we are proud to announce that we’ve gathered 48.435 ZMK, equivalent to 12.750 DKK. The money will soon be channeled into our teams in Mbete and applied to pay salaries, equipment, transport for away trips, English lessons, social enterprises and much more.

None of the above could take place without the tremendous effort from CopenFalster FF. Therefore: Thank you very much to all volunteers who have worked tireslessly to establish a day full of joy and togetherness! Next year, we’ll make it seven.
